Consulting for Architects opened in New York in 1984 — the nation’s first firm to staff architects on a project basis. We grew with the profession: a Boston office in 1990, then in 1994 our New York office became an Autodesk Authorized Training Center with the launch of AutoCAD Release 13, with a Chicago office following in 1995. In 1998 we added an Autodesk reseller business — rolling out AEC reseller and training operations across the offices, putting countless design professionals through our classrooms, and earning more than a dozen national Autodesk honors.

In the wake of September 11, 2001, we consolidated and returned to our roots — staffing the architecture firms we’d spent two decades serving. That CAD expertise didn’t go anywhere; it became the calibration behind every CFAeX Knowledge Assessment.
