Leading NYC A/E/C, Development and Construction firm with projects including multi-family residential building, famous restaurants, high end offices and large planning projects.
Description:
Our client, a dynamic architectural firm based in New York City, is seeking an Intermediate Architect to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong NYC project experience who is ready to contribute to all phases of design, documentation, and project coordination. The designer will collaborate closely with the firm’s architects and engineers, supporting technical and design deliverables from concept through construction.
Responsibilities

Develop and draft architectural plans for various project types

Prepare construction documents and DOB filing sets

Create presentation materials for client and internal reviews

Support construction administration, including site visits, surveys, and inspections

Research materials, finishes, and new products

Maintain and expand CAD, Revit, and Rhino drawing libraries and details

Assist with 3D modeling, visualizations, and design studies as needed
Requirements
-
3-8 years of professional architectural experience

Strong proficiency in Revit

Expert skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite

Solid understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and standards

Working knowledge of NYC Building Code, IBC, and NYC zoning

Familiarity with x-refs, layers, and layer management best practices

Rhino experience; 3D modeling and rendering preferred

Physical model-making experience a plus

Master’s degree preferred but not required

Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
Salary / Hourly:
