Our client is a boutique NYC interior design firm specializing in high-end luxury residential projects.
Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Project Manager with 5–7+ years of experience to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent based on performance and project needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong project manager who can oversee luxury residential projects from concept through installation, working closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout all phases of the project. The ideal candidate will have a commercial design background, such as hospitality, and experience working within a structured, collaborative design environment. Residential experience is a plus but not required. Time frame is 9/1/26-4/1/27.
Required:
5–7+ years of professional interior design experience
Strong project management experience with construction and architectural coordination
Ability to manage projects from concept through installation
High-end luxury residential experience preferred
AutoCAD required
Photoshop required
Proficiency in InDesign and/or Canva
Experience with specification and purchasing software; Design Manager preferred, Studio Designer considered
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Must be willing to work fully in-office Monday–Friday; no remote option
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program, preferably a B.S.
Salary / Hourly:
$45–$55 per hour
