Description:
Our client is seeking a full-time, on-site Architect/Junior Project Manager with a minimum of 6 years of architectural experience, including at least 2 years of project management experience. Working closely with principals and senior project managers, this role will support and lead projects involving large and complex luxury residences from design development through construction. Responsibilities include coordinating and organizing drawing sets and construction documents, interpreting design intent into working drawings, coordinating consultants, reviewing shop drawings, conducting fieldwork, supporting construction administration, researching building codes, and assisting with project specifications and documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, confident managing teams and delegating tasks, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Project travel may be required.
Required:
- Minimum 6 years of architectural work experience
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience
- High-end residential experience preferred; commercial experience considered
- Strong construction documentation and detailing experience
- Experience with consultant coordination and construction administration
- Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and applications
- Must be willing to work fully on-site in Los Angeles
Education:
Architectural education or equivalent experience
